House of Vojnović : ウィキペディア英語版
Vojnović noble family

The House of Vojnović or Vojinović is a Serbian noble family of Boka Kotorska and Dalmatia. Their roots were in Herceg Novi, in a present-day Montenegro. They were very prominent politicians, intellectuals, soldiers, maritime captains and merchants in history of
Dalmatia.
==Origin==
The Vojinović clan originates from Popovo Polje in Herzegovina. The earliest known ancestor of the Vojnovići was Vujo Vojinović, who lived in the early 17th century. His two sons, Miloš Vujov Serdarević and Jovan Vujov Vojinović relocated to Herceg Novi (then under Venetian control) in ca. 1690 due to the Great Turkish War.
